Macdonough School welcomes Special Olympics Torch Run

Area Special Olympic athletes and Middletown Police officers ran through the streets of Middletown on Thursday for the annual Special Olympics Torch Run.  As the runners approached the intersection of Grand Street and Liberty Street, they were welcomed by hundreds of Macdonough School students, staff, and parents.

Among the runners was Miss Antonucci, who clearly received the largest ovation of the day as she high-fived (and low-fived) people in the cheering crowd!
