Members of the Macdonough Running Club participated in the Blum Shapiro Road Race at TPC River Highlands Golf Club in Cromwell. More than a dozen young runners from Macdonough School took part in the Kids Fun Run and two students tackled the 3.1 mile race. 
Congratulations to 1st grader Olivia Solecki, first place winner in the Female 9 and Under age group and to 3rd grader Ezra Manjon, second place winner in the Male 9 and Under age group.Macdonough School's participation in this race was sponsored by the Hartford Marathon Foundation.
