Area Special Olympic athletes and Middletown Police officers ran through the streets of Middletown on Thursday for the annual Special Olympics Torch Run. As the runners approached Pease Avenue, they were welcomed by hundreds of Macdonough School students, staff, and parents.
Among the runners was Miss Antonucci, who received the largest ovation of the day as she high-fived people in the cheering crowd!
