Teachers, students, and parents competed in the ING Hartford Half Marathon as a relay team.
Several teachers completed the entire 13.1 mile course including Miss Claffey, Mr. Nelson, Miss Weindruch, and Miss Antonucci. Others joined students and parents to run one or more miles of the course including Miss McKenzie, Mrs. Broomfield, and Mrs. Brick.
Added together, the Macdonough Marathon Relay Team completed almost 100 miles of running!Macdonough School's participation in the ING Hartford Half Marathon was sponsored by the Hartford Marathon Foundation as part of Jeff's Running Partners program.
