Macdonough School students will have the opportunity to visit the North End Farmers Market on Fridays in September and October.
Students and staff will make the 1/4 mile walk to the market from Macdonough School. Upon arrival, each child will receive tokens to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables at the market.
Macdonough School's participation in the North End Farmers Market was made possible through coordination with Izzi Greenberg, Executve Director of the North End Action Team and Mary Raney, a reading teacher at Macdonough School.
